Hi Lin..great slide show and the scenery is do different and beautiful. I wonder if the Navaho do any better than the Seneca that live near us. They have gambling casinos, but the money doesn't seem to reach those who really need it and I can't help but wonder about the loss of a culture in exchange for slot machines.
Mom. beautiful photos.. Navajo land is truly beautiful and i don't think Navajo culture will be exchanged for slot machines they are educated and do respect, teach their way of life to their young ones. . lots of hugs.
We spent several days three years ago in the land of the Navahos. I learned a lot about them and their culture. An all day tour of Monument Valley and another of Canyon de Chelly were wonderful.
